1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Safe Message Shield ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.
2. License & Permitted Use
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Safe Message Shield on compatible iOS devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial spam defense purposes in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
3. Offline Nature & Rule Responsibility
Safe Message Shield functions entirely offline on your device using Apple's official system extensions. You acknowledge and agree that:
- All filtering and call blocking criteria are based on active keyword rules, presets, and blocklists configured by you or bundled with the Application.
- You are responsible for reviewing and maintaining your Whitelist to prevent accidental classification of critical verification codes (e.g., banking 2FA OTPs).
- The Application categorizes incoming SMS messages into the native iOS Junk tab according to your rules; it does not permanently delete messages.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While Safe Message Shield strives to minimize mobile spam, we do not guarantee that 100% of unwanted communications will be detected or that legitimate communications will never be flagged.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer of Safe Message Shield be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Application.
