🛡️ Core Principle: All image processing, similarity analysis, and categorization take place exclusively on your iPhone. Your photos, videos, and personal data NEVER leave your device.
1. Information We Access
Similarly requests permission to access your iOS Photo Library solely to scan, compare, and display similar or duplicate photos. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share your personal photos, EXIF data, or location metadata on any remote servers.
2. On-Device Image Processing
Image analysis is performed using Apple's Vision framework (FeaturePrint embeddings) entirely on your device's Neural Engine. Generated mathematical feature vectors are cached locally in your device's sandboxed SwiftData database and deleted when photos are removed.
3. Third-Party Analytics & Tracking
Similarly contains zero third-party tracking SDKs, zero ad networks, and zero telemetry frameworks. We do not track your activity, your device ID, or your personal identity.
4. Your Rights & Photo Deletion
Whenever you choose to delete photos, Similarly utilizes Apple's official PhotoKit API, prompting a native iOS confirmation. Deleted items are safely relocated to Apple's 'Recently Deleted' album, allowing 30 days for easy recovery.
